Windows XP – Maintaining Privacy Through Cookies settings in the System

In Windows XP, the folder Documents and Settings presents all user information, including system configuration, favorites, and cookies. At the directory Documents and Settings \ username \ Cookies, you can find some files cookies that are stored by the system. How to control all existing cookies in the system?

File Tips cookies that are stored in the system can be used by a number of people who are not responsible for spying on your habits when surfing the Internet. Therefore, there is no harm in you adjust the existence of the file. To arrange it, click the button “Start | Control Panel | Network And Internet Connection | Internet Options”. In the Internet Options window, you can select the tab “Privacy” and use the slider bar to modify the settings of cookies. You can block cookies from some website by clicking on the button “Sites” or blocking them directly by clicking on the “Advanced” button.

If you want to manage via a slide bar, you can slide it from the highest choices, namely Block All Cookies to the lowest, Accept All Cookies. In between these two choices, you can find options High, Medium High, Medium, and Low.
